Jawan was released on 7th September 2023 theatrically. It was planned initially to be release it on 02 June 2023, but the movie was not prepared that well so it had to launch it on 7th of September. Jawan on hit of it’s 2nd Day, it is a Movie written in Hindi, it was directed and co-written by the debuted artist named as Atlee. The production of this movie was basically from Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under the well-known production house named as Red Chilies Entertainment.
The Actors and the Co-Actors worked in the movie are the most popular actors as Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role as father and son, alongside Nayanthara as , Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone where she was billed as a special appearance at the movie, Priyamani and Sanya Malhotra. The background and the soundtrack’s of the movie is been composed by Anirudh Ravichander, the cinematography was basically done by G. K. Vishu and the editing was completely done by Ruben. The movie was basically shotted by the places in Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Rajasthan and Aurangabad.
STORY
In Mumbai, a female jailer named Azad Rathod and her group of inmates have hijacked the Mumbai Metro, demanding a staggering ₹40,000 crores for the passengers’ lives. Global arms dealer Kali Gayakwad, whose daughter is on the train, agrees to pay the ransom. Azad plans to donate the money to the underprivileged. After their success, Azad marries NSG officer Narmada Rai.
Azad’s group kidnaps the Health Minister to demand better healthcare infrastructure. They discover Narmada’s true identity, but Kali’s brother captures her. Azad, revealing his past, saves her: Vikram was a commando framed as a traitor by Kali after uncovering corrupt weapons deals. Vikram’s wife, Aishwarya, tells their son Azad before her execution.
Upon learning the truth, Narmada joins Azad’s mission. In a shootout with corrupt partner Irani, Lakshmi is killed. Azad steals money from Kali’s containers meant for elections. They demand the closure of polluting factories, which is granted. A clash with Kali results in his death.
Months later, Azad and his team target Swiss banks for another operation.
Budget and Box Office Collection
The company made an announcement at public and made it a public announcement on 3rd of June 2022 with all the formalities and confirming the Project. The movie was being planned to be made at R.s:- 300 crore and it worked according to their plan. It was a Big Hit for Red Chilies Entertainment and it made a profit. And collected around 120 crores till now. It has entered the Rs. 100 crore club with an great speed. Jawan was a success for Hindi films because it has collected more than Rs 75 crore in all the different languages.
